Choosing a tattoo artist requires a bit of homework.
Look for a professional tattoo artist that works for a well established shop that is Health Canada regulation approved. An unclean tattoo shop is a sure way to getting a bad tattoo and it could be dangerous to your health.
Once you have an idea of what you’d like to have done, do your research to see who can do your desired style of tattoo. Get a recommendation from someone who already has a tattoo that you like. Ask your friends or family for their advice on a good shop or tattoo artist. And always ask to see examples of work that a tattoo artist has done.

The proper way of getting a tattoo:
• Choose your preferred artist and review their portfolio.
• Contact them. Set up a consultation to ensure you’re on the same page – either over the phone, zoom or through email. Ask their availability, some artists book 3-4 months in advance.
• Send your tattoo artist any reference photos you have, location of the tattoo and approximate sizing in inches.
• Spend years showing off your awesome tattoo to everyone else you can think of.

F*ck ya, but not forever.
Different people have different experiences with the pain of getting a tattoo. Pain is measured by the person receiving it. Some say it hurts more than others. Some say some areas hurt more than others. But regardless of how much or where they say it hurts... it just f*cking hurts to get a tattoo.

Smaller tattoos = less time to feel pain. A professional tattoo artist who knows what they’re doing is less painful than your friend with a janky needle. Drugs or alcohol can make it harder for the artist to tattoo you as some can thin the blood, others can make you more susceptible to pain.

Getting a good tattoo costs money. Getting a shitty tattoo costs even more than money. And like most things, the cost of a good tattoo depends on how much work you want to be done. A good tattoo artist will be able to help you determine the cost of your tattoo. You need to give them an idea of what you would like done. Bigger tattoos take more time obviously so find out your artist’s shop rate. If you have a budget, let them know.

Unfortunately, no.
Each client must be treated as a new appointment in order to provide a sterile and safe treatment. We spend time to create a completely new sterile setup and then take time to tear it down. So, we charge accordingly for each person.

Tattooing hands, necks or faces is at the discretion of the artist.
